![]() ![]() The game is full of bugs right now but this directly impacts gameplay and shouldn't be difficult to fix. Having said that, having this bug stick around this long, eliminating interaction every 20ish games where someone pulls it off is pretty annoying. Like yes Mtg is full of combos, but implying Book haven to like a Kiki-Jiki/splinter twin combo is just not based in reality.īook haven as far as combo go you can see a mile away (although I will admit that is harder to gauge since it is suppose to be banned in 2022) however it still folds to instant speed removal or just running it over with aggro. This strategy is far from unbeatable and MtG is full of combos that feel "broken" compared to what is acceptable in other card games. Wizards fucked up but given we are less than a week away from rotation and 2022 que is going to get erased anyway I am sure it is not on their highest priority to fix the ban. Mate I get it is annoying being surprised by the combo but calling them "bug abusers" and advocating they are banned or suspended is being quite dramatic. Having played other competitive games where similar bugs are both fixed promptly and those who abuse them are banned/suspended, it's really sad to see the way WotC is handling this. His fingers fuse with his keyboard, his fingers too thick to undo the dangling mass of silicon that isn't in either this or dimension. If only he could remove the shining counter from in between it's antlers. ![]() They are sitting on a physical manifestation of their code base, ragged edges made from technical debt, they skin crawling with bugs past and present.Ī developer, shedding his last bits of sanity is staring in horror at an protruding deer face, it is everywhere and nowhere, in a place place unbound by logic, just beyond the real. On their right monitor they are forced to read all the complaints made in this reddit, slowly scrolling by. They are only allowed to work on new cards on their left monitor. I have this picture in my mind where i see a rag tag band of developers chained to their computers with mouse cords, being whipped by network cables. My issue is that it's WotC's intent that it can't be playing in Standard 2022 so it just feels bad in the odd game where you do lose to it. Decks that run it probably have a fairly low winrate. However, my complaint has nothing to do with the strength of the combo.
